Governor Pritzker Issues Executive Order Temporarily Allowing Pre-Licensing Webinars

The executive order can be viewed at this link:

Please be advised that the current Executive Order 2020-29, allowing the 7.5 class component to be delivered via Webinar initiated by the Governor on April 20, 2020 currently EXPIRES EVERY 30 DAYS, but can be renewed again for an additional thirty days. This order has been renewed several times since it was originated.

We anticipate this order will continue to be renewed for the foreseeable future, but in the event it is not, and the state returns to in-person only classes, we will likely not know until a day or two before that happens. If the order does expire permanently, Dohrn Insurance Training, Inc. will contact you by email and by phone immediately to alert you to this fact. In the event the order does expire, your webinar will be automatically converted to an in-person class, as required by law, for the date or dates for which you originally registered.

If in-person classes are required, they will be held at our Elmhurst classroom facility, 909 South Kingery Hwy, employing various safety measures including distancing chairs by six feet from each other and face masks will be required in the building at all times. All students will be required to read and sign a Covid-19 Liability Waver Form to be granted access to each in-person class. (Click here for link to form).

Please be advised this situation is fluid. Dohrn Insurance Training will always follow existing regulation and notify all registered students as promptly as possible to any changes and possibilities to best serve your licensing needs.

Under Illinois law insurance course providers have been allowed to offer Ethics Webinars since August 14, 2018 and there are no changes. However, in order to keep our clients as safe as possible during this Covid-19 period, Dohrn Insurance Training will continuing to offer all ethics programs as Webinar only for the foreseeable future.
